We are a non-profit organization that connects Chinese managers with international allocators and market participants in the private fund industry. We support their professional development and facilitate their access to institutional grade opportunities. We represent the voice and interest of the Chinese cross-border private fund industry and advocate for high standards in regulation, innovation, ethics and governance. We collaborate with various stakeholders in the private fund ecosystem and foster long-term growth and reputation of the industry. Our members are private fund managers, professionals, allocators and financiers, who collaborate towards growing our business and reputation in the global market. We work with different asset classes and fund domiciles to meet the needs of our investors.
Our Mission
COPFA is an industry initiative that aims to elevate the standards and reputation of Chinese private funds through education, engagement and data sharing. We bridge the gap between Chinese managers and international allocators by providing a forum for dialogue, collaboration and mutual understanding. Can I join COPFA if I run an onshore RMB fund business?No, COPFA only focuses on the overseas (USD) private fund industry and does not cover the onshore (RMB) funds industry. However, you can join COPFA if you are interested in establishing an overseas private fund business.
